Leadership
Our founder and Managing Director is Lisa Hickey. With over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession, Lisa brings deep expertise across a range of industries, with a particular focus on the health sector.
Prior to founding LMH Advisory Services, Lisa was a Director at a large Adelaide accounting practice, and the lead Director of the firm's dedicated Health Team. She has advised medical, dental and allied health professionals on all aspects of business and financial management—from start-up structuring to succession planning—across practices of all sizes.
She has worked closely with leading medical industry bodies, including the AMA(SA) and ADA(SA), particularly during the changes in payroll tax legislation that affected the medical profession profoundly.
In addition to her advisory work, she is a long-standing Board Member of Stirling Private Hospital, and currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee, reporting directly to the Board.
Lisa began her training in a large international accounting firm, with a stint in London, before moving to a smaller boutique firm, and then a large second tier firm. Her experience ranges across all types and sizes of clients. This gives LMH Advisory Services a unique perspective, across many areas of business.
Lisa's vision for the firm is to provide exceptional service to great clients, in a more flexible atmosphere than a traditional accounting firm. She is genuinely interested in her clients and, in fact, still works with a client that she has been looking after since the very first year of her accounting career.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce, Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
